TYPO3 ELTS Release Version 6.2.32
Today, our TYPO3 ELTS Team released a new version for TYPO3 6.2 ELTS. The package includes one security fix as well as altogether five bugfixes.
As always with our ELTS releases, the main focus is to keep the instance stable and the backend running smoothly, regardless of current browsers changing their behaviour in the course of time.
Curious about the techy bit? Here is the changelog:
[RELEASE] Release of TYPO3 ELTS 6.2.32
[SECURITY] no details given to not endanger instances in the wild
[BUGFIX] Use EXEC_TIME for sys_log entry instead of time()
[BUGFIX] HtmlArea: Use getAttribute() directly
[BUGFIX] Reload page tree after deleting pages
[TASK] Correct view webpage link anchor in list module
[BUGFIX] Add support for target attribute to form viewhelper
Are you still running your website on TYPO3 6.2?
TYPO3 CMS always has 2 current versions that are supplied with free security bug fixing (currently TYPO3 version 7.6 and version 8.7).
TYPO3 CMS version 6.2 was officially marked unsupported by the Core Team on March 31, 2017 when TYPO3 version 8.7 was released. Sometimes there are good reasons for sticking to an older version, and that doesn’t have to be a problem.
But one thing has to be a top priority at all times, and that’s staying on top of maintenance and security updates.
Maybe your website is still delivering everything you need. Or maybe the update of your website is just taking longer than expected. Gain peace of mind through opting for one of TYPO3 GmbH’s ELTS plans.
