T3CON24 brings together agency professionals, decision-makers, and public sector leaders to explore how TYPO3’s infrastructure can equip organizations and agencies with the tools and insights they need to drive their digital transformation journeys.

At the TYPO3 Conference 2024 (26–28 November 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany), the focus is on supporting agencies and end users in enhancing their digital endeavors. Here’s what you can expect over the three days of this dynamic conference: expert talks, interactive exhibitions, and networking opportunities that culminate in the prestigious TYPO3 Awards Gala.
Day 1: Security & Compliance Strategies for Public Sector and Higher Education – 26 November 2024*

T3CON24 begins with a dedicated day focused on the public sector and higher education, reflecting TYPO3’s growing influence in these fields. This predominantly German-speaking day will showcase the latest innovations in TYPO3, including the recent release of TYPO3 v13 LTS, and key updates on government solutions such as the Government Sitebuilder (GSB11).
Moderated by last year’s host, Frank Schmidt, our program covers the latest developments in TYPO3 for the public and educational sectors and the role that Open Source plays in these fields specifically.
Other sessions will explore topics like cloud services for the public sector, accessibility, and best practices for managing content in TYPO3, with talks by industry experts, government officials, and webmasters in the higher education field. We’re happy to welcome Stephan Schmidt from TCI Rechtsanwälte, Stefan Barac from strategica11y, Lara Müller from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, and key agency representatives from our exhibition for the Lightning Talk stage as speakers!
Lightning Talks for Smart Solutions and Best Practices
During program breaks, T3CON exhibitors will present smart solutions and best practices through extended Lightning Talks. The single-track format ensures cohesion with the program’s overall themes.
On Day 1, these sessions will cover the topics of website budgeting, automation, accessibility, and cyber insurance.

Day 2: Digital Transformation & Innovation – 27 November 2024
The day kicks off with a respected figure in many content management communities. For the last 20 years, Jeffrey A. "jam" McGuire, now a partner in Open Strategy Partners, has lived a life in and out of CMS and web technology relationships. His keen eye and natural wit will leave no stone unturned, presenting new perspectives on TYPO3 and the industry at large.
The second day of T3CON will then focus on transforming and adapting businesses and technologies in a dynamic digital landscape. Marc Löffler (Agile Tour Guides GmbH) will explore how agile transformations help businesses adapt effectively, while strategy expert Patricia Moock (4L Impact Strategies) highlights the role of sustainable governance in achieving lasting change. Marc Thiele from beyond tellerrand will discuss the importance of independent events and their evolution, emphasizing how trust and independence are crucial in today’s tech ecosystems. Janus Boye, founder and lead of Boye & Company, will further reinforce this with insights into the resilience of open source.
To close Day 2 of T3CON, official representatives from TYPO3 will be available for an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on stage, discussing anything that comes to mind about the TYPO3 ecosystem.
Together, these sessions demonstrate that adapting to change is essential for thriving in the digital world. Day 3: Agencies, Marketing & Optimization – 28 November 2024
Day 3 of T3CON24 focuses on empowering agencies and businesses with advanced strategies and insights into the evolving role of technology, AI, and e-commerce. Expert speakers will guide attendees through key topics like developing transparent pricing models and talent strategies, ensuring agencies remain competitive in a fast-changing market. Markus Hartmann will kick things off by offering practical advice on pricing strategies that move beyond traditional hourly rates, while experts from Shopware, Julia Leusing and Marie Reckendrees, will share how emerging technologies like AI and spatial computing are reshaping e-commerce.
With complementary lightning talks alongside our main stage lineup, Martin Helmich and Rudi Mantler will dive into talent development and aligning tech infrastructure with agency growth. The day culminates with Prof. Dr. Patrick Glauner exploring how to leverage AI in today’s competitive business world. It all wraps up with a comprehensive look at TYPO3’s current state and future direction, reinforcing the conference's overarching theme of Empowering Digital Transformation.
TYPO3 Awards Gala: Celebrating Excellence – 28 November 2024
As the final highlight after T3CON24 wraps up, the TYPO3 Awards Gala will take place on the evening of 28 November, also at Areal Böhler. Hosted again by Matt Beadle, with the addition of Emily Whigham, this gala event will celebrate the best TYPO3 projects of the year, recognizing creativity, innovation, and the dedication of the TYPO3 community.
