We are proud to announce that we will start to offer official training courses, led by TYPO3 professionals, for integrators and developers - starting in May at our headquarters in Düsseldorf and remotely throughout the year.
Our COO Susanne Moog and our technical writer and member of the Documentation Team Tom Warwick, will guide you through these first courses.
Are you just starting out with TYPO3? Would you like to learn more about the latest developments in the TYPO3 universe? Do you want to know more about our best-practice solutions? Are you ready to finally get the hang of using composer? If so, then our professional training courses are your next step on your journey with TYPO3.
A mix of best practice workshops, one-day exam preparation sessions, and longer topic-centric courses are offered to help you become a better TYPO3 user.
Whether you are a consultant, developer, integrator, or even a beginner there is a course for you!
As a sneak peak, let us present two of our offerings:
What’s new in TYPO3
This session will give you an overview of the latest TYPO3 version (11 LTS), showcase major new features, give hints about the most notable upgrade steps, and even take a quick look at the current development state of v12 and what’s to come.
Migrate to Composer
You asked, we listened. Due to popular demand, we are offering a workshop solely dedicated to migrating a legacy non-composer project to composer in easy guided steps. We will first take a look at the basic steps that need to be taken, then migrate an example project and finally offer guidance on how to migrate your concrete projects. Bring your questions, and we’ll do our best to provide or find the answers for you.
Our qualified trainers, Susanne Moog and Tom Warwick, have many years of experience with TYPO3 itself and in education and training. With small class sizes and hands-on training, we guarantee personal attention from our instructors.
Susanne has been developing websites with TYPO3 since 2005. She has been a member of the TYPO3 Server, Documentation, and Core teams throughout her career and has acquired in-depth knowledge in many areas. Susanne is also a certified trainer in adult education with additional training in educational science and professional development. She has worked as a university lecturer in a computer science degree program.
Tom has been working with TYPO3 since 2008. During this time, he has also conducted countless TYPO3 training courses for various user groups, from editors to developers. As a member of the TYPO3 documentation team, his main focus is on helping new users get started with TYPO3. As recent as this year, he was helping with an introductory course about TYPO3 basics at the University of South Wales.
If your company is a Platinum or Gold member of the TYPO3 association, you can get a discount on all workshops. Take advantage of this opportunity to benefit from your support for the TYPO3 project.
