Let’s party!

TYPO3 CMS v9 LTS is coming out on October 2, 2018! And the best way to celebrate is with a release party.

These events are hosted at agency offices, where people can gather around for chat, to learn about new features, and share some insights about the next release. This is a great way to show off the features of the next release to colleagues and clients.

Find TYPO3 v9 LTS release parties

There’s three planned for Germany, and one each in IndiaNetherlandsSwitzerland, Sweden. At the time of writing, that’s a total of 8 parties. For TYPO3 v8 LTS there were 30 Release Parties! So we’re guessing a few of you are planning your parties, but haven’t told anyone just yet. You have a few weeks to get your invitations out and your decorations up.

Would you like to run a TYPO3 v9 LTS Release Party? Here’s what to do.

1. First, plan your event.

  • What date and time? The release is on a Tuesday which might not be your party day.

  • Where will it be?

  • How can people RSVP? Set up a Meetup event, a Facebook event, or ask people to RSVP via Twitter.

2. Next, list it on the wiki page.

3. Share and promote!

  • Use the hashtag #TYPO3LTS for everything you do.

  • Share a link to your Release Party event on social media.

  • Mention @typo3 and we’ll share your tweet!

Do you have a Release Party planned? Any other events coming up? Comment below, we’d love to hear!
As always, thank you for reading, and contact us if you have any questions.
