Coding, chatting and collaborating at TYPO3 Camps and Community Sprints

Throughout the year, the TYPO3 community organized seven immersive TYPO3 Camps, offering members an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share their knowledge. We also organized two Community Sprints at our headquarters in Düsseldorf. If you missed out on these events, fear not! 25 Years of TYPO3

A milestone was reached when TYPO3 celebrated its 25th anniversary. This momentous occasion was duly celebrated by the community, and it was an opportunity to reflect on TYPO3's journey and recognize the progress made over the past 25 years. The community gathered on April 18, 2023, at TYPO3 Headquarters to celebrate this historic milestone.

Celebrating TYPO3 LTS v12 Release

The release of TYPO3 LTS v12 was undoubtedly a highlight of the year. The official release party with livestream at Rheinschafe, Duisburg, marked the starting signal for more than 10 further release parties in DACH and India. Beyond the confetti and festivities, the release introduced cutting-edge features and innovations that propel TYPO3 into new realms. Inside TYPO3: Our new Podcast

Since July, we have been reporting regularly on the latest news and developments in the TYPO3 project. The "Inside TYPO3" podcast became a new platform for discussions, insights and interviews within the TYPO3 scene. This channel allowed the community to stay informed and connected. In addition to interviews with Benni Mack and Abdulhamid Kwieder, we also spoke with Matt Raines from Prater Raines, one of our new members from the United Kingdom. This podcast isn't just about the code; it's about the people who shape the TYPO3 ecosystem. Developer Days in Karlsruhe

The TYPO3 Developer Days in Karlsruhe offered a range of workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities. For the first time in the history of the Developer Days, more than 350 people joined us in Karlsruhe to learn about TYPO3, network and exchange new ideas. We had an absolute blast and – in the 2024 edition – are aiming to reach even more TYPO3 enthusiasts. Additionally, during this event, we proudly reached a milestone of 1,000 TYPO3 Association members – In the history of TYPO3 – that’s more members than ever – showing how bright, alive and growing our ecosystem truly is. TYPO3 Conference in Düsseldorf for the very first time

For the first time in history, the long-awaited TYPO3 Conference found its home in Düsseldorf, the very heart of TYPO3 innovation and the headquarters of TYPO3 GmbH. The event was more than a convergence of minds; it was a celebration of excellence, with the highlight being the prestigious award gala. Seventeen winners, each with outstanding projects, were recognized for their contributions to the TYPO3 ecosystem.
