Netigo Delivers Klüh a Modern, Future-Proof Job Portal

Klüh Service Management GmbH (Klüh) is a global multiservice provider based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Service management entails a process of monitoring and improving systems that provide services to consumers and businesses, ensuring they meet customer standards and create value. 

The company is active in the cleaning, catering, clinic service, security, and airport service sectors among several others, and employs more than 58,000 employees across eight countries, with its global revenue standing at over €1.023 billion in 2023. 

With employees being Klüh’s greatest asset, the company sought to create a new job portal to provide applicants with an intuitive platform for job searches and applications, enabling them to streamline their application process. 

To handle the task of creating a new job portal, Klüh turned to Netigo, also based in Düsseldorf, to engineer a modern and innovative solution.

Klüh required a platform that would optimize its internal HR processes while also offering applicants a user-friendly experience. Key requirements of the project included: 

• TYPO3 as the technical foundation, ensuring a secure, scalable, and future-proof solution. 
• Integration of existing HR software Softgarden for automatic synchronization of job listings and direct transfer of applications into the system. 
• Implementation of Whatsapp-based applications via PitchYou, lowering the barrier for applications through this channel. 
• Interactive and user-friendly features such as a Google Maps-based job map that enables geographic job searches.
• A dynamic application form that adapts based on the job listing to ensure the highest possible conversion rate. 

The implementation phase of the project featured the same five key areas of focus outlined above. The Netigo team worked with their client at Klüh to deliver a powerful, functional, and modern solution that would meet Klüh’s needs. The key features were: 

1. Softgarden integration: Real-time synchronization of job postings with the API connection to Softgarden. This ensures direct submission of applications to Klüh’s HR system. Once an applicant submits their documents via the portal, they are automatically directed to the application management page. This leads to substantially improved efficiency, along with real-time updates of job listings, ensuring they always remain up to date. 
2. WhatsApp applications via PitchYou: With the PitchYou integration, candidates can apply directly via WhatsApp. This lowers the barrier to application, and is ideally suited to younger applicants, allowing Klüh to appeal to an important target group. 
3. Interactive Job Map: The Google Maps-powered job map allows for applicants to find jobs based on their geographic location, and comes with useful features like radius searches and route planning, that support the applicant in choosing the most suitable job location. 
4. Smart Search Functions: The portal was created packed with advanced features including filtering options and powerful search functions that help users find relevant jobs quickly. The search filters include criteria such as job field, location, and contract type.
5. Innovative Application Form: The application form is uniquely designed to be flexible and adaptable to specific job ads. Only relevant information is requested, simplifying the process and increasing efficiency along with conversion rate.

Since the portal went live the Klüh team has observed significant improvements in its recruiting process. These include positive indicators on key metrics such as: 

• Increased number of applicants through the WhatsApp-PitchYou application feature. 
• Reduced administrative overhead thanks to automated processes via seamless Softgarden integration. 
• Improved candidate experience thanks to an intuitive, user-friendly interface. 
• Faster placement of open positions, enabling applicants to access relevant job offers more quickly. 
• Future-proof infrastructure using TYPO3 as a scalable foundation for long-term development.
