DOKOM21, a regional telecommunications provider based in Dortmund, sought a modern, comprehensive website to effectively showcase its diverse digital services. In this instance, DOKOM21 needed a solution which would simplify the dissemination of information and product offerings for customers. This included booking services directly, checking availability for appointments or exploring current product offerings and services. 

Empowering DOKOM21’s Users Through Smart Self-Service Tools

The new DOKOM21 website, developed by UO, is designed to optimize service delivery and enhance the user experience. Built on TYPO3’s flexible content structures, it presents product and tariff information in a clear, dynamic, and user-friendly way. The site emphasizes usability, automation, and customer engagement to support DOKOM21’s wide range of digital services.

Key features in this website include a secure digital ordering process, a callback request service for customers and an integrated availability check. Customers can quickly check their availability by entering their address or accessing the interactive coverage map. These features were implemented with the customer experience and journey as the top priority. Content modules for the website include a blog and news section, including a semi-automated newsletter system which eliminates any redundant content management. 

The site is designed to encourage user participation including a digital registration form for DOKOM21’s Bundesliga betting game. Additionally, registration for the annual Christmas event can be accessed via QR code. A dedicated ordering system for sales partners was developed to support customer consultations and further services booking directly through the site. This feature further enhances the sales workflows both internally and externally.

Another standout feature on the website is a dedicated section for business customers which provides curated information for this audience. Business customers can learn about the solutions implemented by DOKOM21 via easily accessible practical reports. Relevant digital events are also available for registration. Live sessions are offered in this section of the website where business customers can learn more about tailored solutions in a live session.
