Since 17 years now I serve my coustomers either directly or as partner of other IT service companies or agencies. I realize my projects by using various Opensource frameworks which I implement and extend according to my customers‘ requirements.
I prefer Linux server sytems (mostly Debian or Suse), Apache as webserver software, MySQL as database and PHP as scripting language as the basis for my projects.
TYPO3 provides the basis in most of our projects used as a CMS and framework, which is on one hand perfectly extendible and provides an architecture that is adaptable to all kinds of demands and which additionally offers a high-class content management functionality which doesn´t have to fear the competition wit proprietary closed source systems.
License fees for comparable systems often sum up to 5-digit amounts where in most cases hosting bound to the producer adds to the cost.
My methods follow the principles of object orientated software engineering with requirements analysis, object oriented design in UML, implementation and test. With the conceptual methods I chose a style which offers a quick orientation in the problem area that leads to a precise definition of requirements and goals.
Additionally I am working iteratively which produces quick results by not extending the conceptual phase too long and realizing productive application parts at an early stage. With that at hand corrections of the focus of an application are possibly at nearly any time.
