Interface transfers data 1:1 into TYPO3 website
United Internet has been aware that online corporate reporting offers a great opportunity in a digitized world to emphasize its innovative brand and to inform stakeholders where they search first - on the internet.
Therefore, United Internet has commissioned the web agency igroup Internetagentur to conceptualize the more than 300-page annual report 2019 as an online report based on TYPO3.
As United Internet uses the software firesys to collect texts, figures, graphics and charts it would have been very time-consuming and error-prone to enter the whole data again manually in TYPO3. So, igroup developed an interface to transfer the data automatically from firesys into a full TYPO3 website.
Secure, consistent and efficient
Thanks to the innovative interface, more than 530 files could be imported with just a few clicks into TYPO3. That ensures consistent data and saves United Internet an enormous amount of time. Based on standard HTML the online report has clear added value for stakeholders like cross-linking, full-text search, sharing options and interactive elements. The report is in responsive design and build in United Internet's corporate branding.
For the reporting year 2020, United Internet has decided to publish both the annual report and the sustainability report in German and English primarily online by using the new interface igroupREPORT.
