At ten particularly attractive locations, proven event professionals do everything to ensure that your event is a complete success. MICE stands for: Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Events.

The Requirement
The agency trio-group communication & marketing gmbh has developed a marketing and design concept for Hessen MICE Net to implement comprehensive communication measures. To ensure that interested parties can find the right location for their get-together online, the entire range of services was to be presented in a bundled form on the new website www.hessenmice.net. The adaptation of concept and design for this was already carried out in coordination with dkd Internet Service GmbH. The aim was to incorporate the sophisticated design for www.hessenmice.net in a separate page tree in the existing TYPO3 application for Hessen Tourismus at the lowest possible cost. In addition, synergies were to be created here by reusing existing content elements of HT or only slightly modifying them in order to avoid reprogramming all HMN elements. The adaptation of the often very complex design was a challenge, especially with regard to the responsive behavior.

The Solution
The project was implemented within the existing TYPO3 installation version 7.6 of Hessen Tourismus. Therefore a new page tree was created for www.hessenmice.net based on the delivered information architecture. Here t3kit was used as a basis, which was already integrated in the project. Otherwise the project was implemented with HTML5 and CSS3. As CSS framework Bootstrap 3 is in use.
According to the design templates delivered in AdobeXD the required content elements were implemented. Among others: Header with CTA and info text, slider, full-width images with and without button, teaser elements, tiles with (isotopes) and without filter option, forms, mosaic element, social wall and an interactive map of the conference network. This was done in close cooperation with the customer and trio-group communication & marketing gmbh. After provision for acceptance, an editor training was carried out via web conference, so that the customer could take over the content maintenance himself.
The highest share of communication with the design agency during the project implementation was directly with the developer. Customer communication was handled by the project manager. There were various coordination meetings with all parties involved (customer, design agency, dkd) to ensure as early as possible that everyone was satisfied with the technical programming implementation.
